PATH TO OUR VISION
In the year 2023-2030, BESO Foundation will leverage a social enterprise approach to solving access to quality education. We are working to ensure that vulnerable children and those from low-income families have access to quality education that can enable them grow up into critical thinkers, problem solvers and break their own cycle of poverty.
Beso Foundation has evolved from a traditional grant based organization to a development enterprise, to provide children access to quality, effective and innovative learning to break their cycle of poverty in East Africa. This new social enterprise model is aimed at making the Organization financially sustainable by reducing dependence on grants and external financing while impacting millions of children
In an effort to move away from dependence on external restricted funding, the foundation will invest in and operate locally-owned, sustainable education social enterprises that break cycles of dependency.
